 Question:  What do like to do in your spare time?  

 Answer:  I love anything that has to with nature, exercise, and competition.  I like to box, swim,  play tennis, go fishing, riding my bicycle, and roller skating.

Question:  What is your favorite movie?  

Answer:  An Officer and A Gentleman     

Question:  Do you have any children?  

Answer:  Yes, I have two.  I have a daughter named Alyson and a son named Cecil.  Alyson is the oldest.    

Question:  How long have you been in business? 

 Answer:  I started planning events in 1998 and decided to get serious and legally became Elite Coordinators in 2005.        

Question:  What is the largest budget you have worked with? 

Answer: $1million and it was fun!

Question:  Have you won any awards as a planner?  

Answer:  Elite Coordinators was chosen in 2015 for The Knot Best of  Weddings, an award that honors the highest-rated wedding  companies as reviewed by couples, their families, and their guests on  TheKnot.com, the nation’s premier wedding website.     

Question:  Have you had any of your events featured?  

Answer:  I had one of my weddings featured in the 2020 fall issue of Wedding Planner Magazine.  It was the last wedding I did before the world shut down due to COVID.   

Question: What types of events do you plan?

 Answer: I can plan any time of event and I think I have touched all types in my career.  I have planned weddings, baby showers, engagement parties, retirement  parties, birthday parties, corporate events, family reunions, funeral repasts, not for profit fundraising by way of golf  outings, galas, retreats, conferences, raffles, and  more.      

Question:  Do you serve on any boards?   

Answer:  I have served on many boards, but had to narrow it down to two recently due to the growth of my business.  I served as the a board member of Minorities in Hospitality (MIH) and worked my way up to Vice  President, Board of Volunteers with Steward Speakers, Membership  Coordinator for Indy Black Chamber of Commerce (IBCC) and on the Board  of Directors of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP)  as President.  I currently service as event coordinator for Wine and Spirit Tasters of Indiana and Board Member and NITE Ride Coordinators for Central Indiana Bicycling Association (CIBA).      

Question:  Where did you attend college?  

Answer:  I earned my Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Management at Marian University.  I also graduated from the Wedding Planning Institute as a Certified Wedding and Event Planner  and earned her Certification as a Vision Board Coach.     

Question:  Name something you accomplished?  

Answer:  I wrote my first book.  The Elite Guide, Questions To Ask  Before Selecting Your Wedding Vendors.  I have copies available if you would like one or two 😊
